Robinson Recruitment Group are working with a very well-established maintenance company in Blackburn who are looking for Maintenance Co-ordinators to start straight away.

**Summary**:
To schedule and coordinate reactive and planned maintenance jobs, and assist with

compliance certifications required by our clients, who own large property portfolios across

the UK. Reactive maintenance involves various trades including plumbers, joiners, gas

engineers, electricians, painters. Certifications include Gas, Electric, Fire Alarm & Emergency

Lights, Legionella, Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Fighting Equipment and PAT testing (Portable

appliance).

**The role**:

- Prime interface into our clients’ staff and tenants to ensure reactive repair jobs are

correctly triaged, scheduled, followed up and completed in a timely manner.
- Responding to enquiries and working with the Renov8 field team to resolve

maintenance issues through to completion.
- Using the maintenance scheduling and repair reporting system to monitor repairs.
- Managing timely issuing of certificates for compliance maintenance to our customers.
- Assisting in quote generation and finalising job cards from the Renov8 field teams.
- Working with suppliers to ensure materials are ordered on-time.
- Managing tasks for our internal and external teams, ensuring maximum efficiency in

delivering our maintenance service to our clients.
- Close liaison with our field maintenance teams and external contractors.
- Managing the invoicing out to our clients and invoices coming in from suppliers.
- Participate in monthly client meetings to track progress and performance.
- Work as part of a team with other maintenance and compliance co-ordinators, as well

as Senior Managers of the business.

**The person**:

- Quick learner and ability to work effectively with our maintenance/scheduling tools

eg. simPRO and accounting tools eg. Xero. Full training will be provided.
- Excellent administration skills and a professional telephone manner.
- Excellent customer service skills and willingness to resolve faults effectively
- Prior knowledge of working in the property maintenance area and working with trades

people is essential.
- The ability to prioritise activities, manage several tasks concurrently and work calmly

under pressure.
- Displays initiative and can think outside the box, dealing effectively with issues.
- Excellent attention to detail in order to present work to high standards.
- Works well using own initiative and able to demonstrate logical problem-solving

ability
- Respectful to other team members and Senior Managers, and an ability to take

instruction and set good examples to others
