Currently, we are seeking a **Children’s Residential Care Worker** to join a multidisciplinary team in **Durham**. In this role, you will play a vital role in implementing care plans, facilitating activities, and providing guidance to promote the holistic well-being of each child under your care.

**Job Specifications**
- Providing direct care and support to children in the residential setting, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and emotional support.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the home by following established protocols and procedures.
- Providing emotional support and guidance to children, helping them to develop coping skills and resilience in dealing with challenges they may face.
- Implementing behavior management strategies as outlined in individual care plans, working closely with the children to promote positive behaviors, and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Working collaboratively with other staff members, including social workers, therapists, and educators, to ensure a coordinated approach to care and support.
- Communicating effectively with children, colleagues, and external stakeholders to ensure the needs of the children are met and that any concerns or issues are addressed promptly.
- Prior Experience working in a similar role.
- 2 years of written references with all gaps verified
- Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care
