Children’s Residential Support Worker

**John Jasper Care** are currently recruiting Bank agency staff for children's home around County Durham area who are looking for **Children’s Residential Support Worker’s** to work within their **children's homes.**
**You will need to have experience of working with children in some sort of care/support/coaching/educational setting to be considered for this role.**
**Staff will be paid weekly and supported by JohnJasper Care management.**
**Pay starts at £13.41ph for standard support, emergency and complex placements will be paid at an enhanced rate.**
The role may involve working a range of shifts including **weekdays, evenings, weekends and sleep in duties. **As and when required covering holidays and sickness and other shifts as required by management.
There is short term and long term contracts available through this role.
**Remote online registration process**.
**Immediate starts available for those with DBS on update service.**

**Qualifications and Skills**
- NVQ level 2 or 3 in Child Care or Social Care
- Minimum 1 years in Children's Residential
- Knowledge of Children’s Home Standards & Quality Standards
- Ability to communicate, engage and form positive relationships with young people, parents/carers and other professionals.
- Referee contact details covering the full employment/education references for gaps of employment.
- Driving Licence and transport advantageous although not essential.
