Doncaster - Office based
£23,500 (with additional £1000 when passed probation)
Elevation recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a Complaints Officer for one of our partnership companies in Doncaster. The role sits within the complaints team, and forms an impartial group within the business. The main responsibility of the complaintsofficer is to manage all complaints recorded by the business and act as a point of contact for any insurance based or escalated complaints within the company. An understanding of the motor finance industry is essential for this role and be able to follow thecurrent complaints process effectively.
Key responsibilities of a Complaints Officer:

- To investigate all complaints competently, impartially and diligently, obtaining all information to ensure a resolution can be achieved
- Communicate professionally with, branch staff, customers, senior managers and members of the Finance Ombudsman Service at all times
- Ensuring all information is recorded with complete accuracy
- To ensure that all complaints received are resolved successfully and in line with the FCA's principles, liaising with all relevant parts of the business to achieve this outcome
- Identify and report any breaches relating to complaint handling to your manager
- Be able to produce information and statistics relating to complaint management as and when required for the senior management team
- General office duties as and when needed
Skills and experience needed for a complaints officer:

- Excellent administration skills including all Microsoft packages
- Great written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Previous complaint handling experience
- Ideally have Motor Finance and regulatory knowledge
