OSP RECRUITMENT are recruiting a Social Value Coordinator to join our Social Sustainability Team. The role will be based in the Head Office - Manchester.

The role will involve a mixture of working from our office, from home and on sites across the North West.

You will work on employment, education and community activities, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, to plan, promote, deliver, monitor and report on the clients sustainability, education and community engagement.

You will work closely with our clients to manage key relationships across multiple stakeholder groups, maintaining strong trusting relationships.

**Your mission**

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Develop Social Value Plans for North West projects setting targets that align with the National TOMs criteria as well as client expectations / contractual requirements.
- Collate all necessary social value data from projects and input into the clients Social Sustainability Reporting Tool.
- Produce monthly and annual social value reports for the regional management team.
- Support projects in fulfilling commitments on local employment and training, including apprentice targets where required.
- Proactively establish links with relevant education establishments, training providers, industry bodies and community organisations.
- Provide input, as requested, to the preparation of tender and bid documentation.
- Attend pre and post-tender interviews with bid teams as requested.
- Organise and support the delivery of work experience placements for people looking to get into employment to undertake activities which:

- Promote construction as a career choice
- Develop skills within the industry - particularly within our supply chain
- Encourage new entrants to the industry, with a focus on apprentices
- Enhance the delivery of the school curriculum, with a strong focus on STEM
- Liaise with the supply chain to provide opportunities for unemployed people and apprentices into work.
- Promote activities with the clients charity partners, and proactively encourage volunteering and fundraising within the region.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Prepare advance works notifications and updates for specific work areas, and take all appropriate follow up actions.
- Liaise with community representation groups to ensure that any concerns are registered and responded to.
- Arrange and attend stakeholder engagement events.
- Assist projects in meeting the minimum requirements of the Considerate Constructor's Scheme with regard to community engagement.
- Drive the clients strategic agenda to enhance lives, by supporting centrally organised community engagement initiatives.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing across the business through the development of learning resources and case studies.
- Attend meetings to receive training updates, share best practice and network with community teams across the business.

**Who are we looking for?**
- A high degree of energy and self-motivation
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Educated to GCSE level
- Experience of community engagement and stakeholder management
- Be highly competent in MS Suite - especially Excel and PowerPoint
- An understanding of EDI and the Employment and Skills agenda
- Knowledge and experience in National TOMs and the Social Value Portal
- Self-motivated and flexible to manage own diary and tasks.
- Strong organisational skills
- Able to work well within a team environment
- Enthusiasm and ability to inspire and engage a broad cross section of stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout the region
