Creative Lead

**Description**:
Do you have excellent video editing skills alongside a good appreciation of design fundamentals?
We're looking for a Creative Lead to join our fast-paced creative services team to spearhead the digital advertising scrum team. This scrum team specialize in short-form media across video, art and design, working closely with our digital marketing and analytics teams. This team are assisted by a fully retained creative agency and work across Jagex’s entire product suite.
You'll be responsible for leading the ideation sessions, using the data and feedback from the analytics teams to shape them and providing creative direction to both the in-house and agency teams.
This is a fast-moving team so you will need to be organized and deadline-driven but you will be working alongside a designated creative producer who will take on the majority of project management. Your key responsibility will be the creative output. The role will be a mix on hands-on work and creative direction. As a lead you’ll need to split your time effectively between the team management and creative contribution. You’ll be responsible for creating a healthy environment to unleash potential in others and facilitate career progression.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Lead creative contact for the digital marketing scrum team
- Acting as a mentor and leader to the team
- Delivering clearly communicated creative feedback to internal and external teams
- Producing high quality video and design media for digital advertising
- Working closely with Marketing teams, Copywriters, Web Developers and various other skillsets
- Producing creative briefs and tests based on performance data
- Constructing creative tests and enforcing the learnings we take from them
- Following multiple product brand guides
- Working closely with creative directors and product stakeholders.
**What we're looking for**:
- A fantastic showreel or portfolio of work you have undertaken, highlighting your talents from creative conception to execution and production, with relevant examples of how your knowledge has or can be applied to the gaming industry
- Proficient in the use of Adobe Suite, including Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop
- Good knowledge of editing terminology, workflows, and best practices.
- A good eye for colours, typography, design and composition
- Ability to show good initiative, judgement and excellent attention to detail
- Good leadership qualities and the ability and patience to share your knowledge with others
- Experience working in similar Senior or Lead roles, ideally within gaming or entertainment industries
- Experience working with digital advertising
- A passion for gaming
- Experience of working on multiple projects to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
