**Job summary**:
- ORR’s Railway Safety Directorate (RSD) regulates health and safety for the entire mainline rail network in Britain, as well as London Underground, light rail, trams and the heritage sector. We want to make sure that our railways are safe, not just a safe mode of transport but also a safe place to work.**Job description**:
- You will provide occupational hygiene expertise through advice, inspection, investigation, and liaison, for controlling occupational hygiene risks, with a particular focus on chemical and biological hazards.**Person specification**:

- Full driving licence.**Qualifications**:
- Science-based Honours degree or an equivalent academic/ professional qualification, which includes the BOHS Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene or the International Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene.**Memberships**:
- Current professional member of, or working towards, the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) Faculty of Occupational Hygiene (FOH) at a minimum grade of Licentiate or Specialist Licentiate Grade (i.e. LFOH or LFOH(S)) or higher.**Behaviours**:
