The role

This job is for you if:

Who you’ll be working with:
Reporting into the Purchasing Supervisor, you will work with a team of purchasers and will engage with the wider UK and Global Supply Chain

Here’s what a typical day would be like:
- Assist the purchasing team in all purchasing activities- Place purchase orders on company approved systems- Expedite open orders- Administration and coordination of the Approved Suppliers List- Collation of data and issuing of monthly reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)- Support the Purchasing team with ad-hoc administration- Dealing with invoice queries

Who we’re looking for:
Essential- IT literate with strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages- Good organisational and prioritisation skills- Excellent time management skills- Ability to work under own initiative

Desirable- Working towards CIPS qualification- Previous experience working in purchasing, procurement or supply chain
