**THE ROLE**:
We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Manager to join the Group Operations team at Matrix. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you’ll use your expertise to build, shape and deliver a suite of actionable reporting to the team, with insights that allow continuous improvement and drive operational efficiency.

Reporting to: Chief Operating Officer

**How will you do it?**
- Hold overall responsibility for the creation, maintenance and distribution of Management Information across the Group Operations function, consisting of Security Watchdog and Workforce operations, Group Implementations, Compliance and Supplier Management
- Create MI reports and dashboards in Sisense (our BI tool), which will inform effective decision-making, support the delivery of our core objectives and KPIs, drive continuous improvement and increase operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Through a robust suite of MI, create a cascade of weekly and monthly management information reports, which will be used both operationally and shared at Board level, providing analysis on our performance to SLAs and KPIs to bring the data to life, highlighting trends, curiosities and areas for improvement to drive productivity and exceed customer satisfaction
- Through a consultative approach, guide the Chief Operating Officer and ELT in the priority of actions and improvements to ensure consistent KPI performance and delivery of key strategic business goals
- Responsible for analysing and interpreting complex data sets to produce insightful management reporting
- Drive the increased use of data through knowledge growth, to support the shift to a data-driven operational team
- Taking colleagues BI requirements and turning them into insight
- Over time increasing the level of automation and self-service for colleagues using Sisense
- Ad hoc reporting to meet changing business needs
- Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues as they arise
- Line management responsibility for 1 colleague

**About you**:

- The successful applicant will be highly personable with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to build relationships and influence decisions at a senior level
- Proven success as a BI Analyst or similar role is essential
- Customer and operationally focused, with experience of holding a similar role within a demanding customer operation
- Strong data interpretation skills; detail-oriented, creative, inquisitive, persistent, and self-motivated
- Experience of Data warehouse design, data modelling, build and manipulation
- Advanced technical skills such as using SQL and Sisense
- High-level competency in Microsoft 365 Applications, including Excel
- Understands data management disciplines, to help improve best practice across the business
- Ability to work closely with key and high-level stakeholders and present large complex data sets into a user-friendly report
- High level attention to detail is key
- Experience in leading / motivating teams to deliver meaningful change and drive their professional development
- People management experience is essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- SQL and Sisense: 3 years (preferred)
