Legal Assistant

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, and contracts
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Prepare correspondence and draft legal documents
- Manage attorney calendars and deadlines
- Perform general administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, filing documents, and maintaining office supplies
**Skills**:
- Strong analytical skills to analyze legal documents and research findings
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in legal documents and correspondence
- Customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and other stakeholders
- Proficient in using computer software for word processing, spreadsheets, and legal research databases
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective communication within the legal team
