Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Legal Assistant (Planning & Highways). You will be working closely with senior colleagues to deliver effective legal advice and support in planning and highways matters. Your role will involve managing a varied caseload of transactional work, including drafting essential legal documentation, managing planning and highway related agreements, and keeping up to date with legal developments.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Transaction Management: Managing a varied caseload of transactional work, including drafting essential legal documentation and managing planning and highway related agreements.
  • Policy Support: Providing support to the policy team in developing and implementing policies related to planning and highways.
  • Expertise Development: Developing your expertise in local government legal work by collaborating with a team of legal professionals.

The annual salary for this role is approximately £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career progression.
