**Casual Team Leader - Concessions**

Home of Coventry City Football Club, Coventry Building Society Arena is synonymous with music, having hosted many of the biggest bands on the planet, including the Killers, Rammstein, Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen Coldplay, Harry Styles and the Arctic Monkeys.

**Overview**:
An opportunity has arisen for an event day concessions staff to join us on a casual basis. The main purpose of the role is to provide guests with excellent customer experience serving a variety of food and drinks in our in-house concessions’ outlets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing all customers at the CBS Arena with excellent customer service
- Ability to manage small teams of staff within one area to serve customers efficiently throughout peak trading periods mitigating any issues smoothly.
- Resolving any customer complaints that may arise.
- To be responsible in stock management processes ensuring that the correct amount of stock is accessible, counted and recorded at all times throughout service.
- To ensure smooth communication with all staff members throughout the shift and motivate staff to hit sales goals.
- Ensuring the concessions unit is clean and ready for service throughout the day.
- To be able to use the till system competently to pull end of shift reports and refund customers if needed.
- To be responsible for cash handling and profit control measures within the concession’s unit

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 12 months supervision within a small team environment
- Ability to prioritise tasks and the workload effectively.
- To be reliable with a flexible approach to work.
- Days, nights & weekends availability.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly personality
- Approachable.
- Strong communicator
- Able to manage small groups of staff to ensure the unit runs smoothly.
- Can take responsibility for staff, stock and cash handled.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

**Job Types**: Casual Contract. There are no guaranteed hours with this role as it’s on a casual basis. Shifts are offered on a business-needs basis and there is no obligation by the business or casual worker to accept the work.
