**Job Summary**

Working in the Finance Department you will be assisting the with the day to day tasks of the department, including maintaining an accurate and complete purchase ledger.

**Key Tasks**
- Receiving, printing and logging purchase invoices
- Checking authorisation of purchase ledger invoices
- Processing approved invoices
- Reconciling purchase ledger accounts to supplier statements
- Advising of invoices for payment & preparing BACS payment runs, accurately allocating payments on account.
- Processing expenses claims, checking supporting receipts, claiming all appropriate VAT
- Scanning, filing and logging accounts documents
- Updating computerised accounting systems
- Processing online credits
- Cash book posting of payments & some receipts
- Cover for sales ledger when absent including posting cash received & updating credit limits.

**About You**

As an integral part of a wider team and you must have:

- Previous experience of working in purchase ledger
- Previous experience of Sage Line 50
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Can do, positive attitude
