Senior Finance Professional

This is a key position in supporting the growth of the business, with full responsibility for delivering monthly financial reports to include profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow. The role involves full end-to-end ownership of the financial reporting process, ensuring underlying controls and processes are observed, with financial ledgers appropriately maintained and will require regular interaction with senior management to present and review business performance and drive enhanced profitability.
Responsibilities- As Financial Controller, the role will be the key Finance point of contact for the Managing Director and the Operational Business unit owners, providing support and challenge on business performance.
- Preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports and preparation of Executive reporting pack.
- Ownership of the accounting ledger, ensuring processes and controls are followed and maintaining a regular cycle of balance sheet reconciliations, including responsibility for the annual audit process.
- Manage planning, forecasting, and budget processes.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with a strong academic record.
- Experience in 'owning' the monthly financial reporting process and ensuring accounting ledgers are maintained and ready for external audit.
