**We have a very exciting career opportunity available at EXL for an HR Assistant Apprentice, to join the HR Team based at home with periodic trips to our London, UK office.**

The purpose of this role is to support the UK Business in the effective and efficient administration of HR related matters. The role is a core role, which has a high degree of visibility to the UK workforce

- In addition to gaining valuable experience working as part of the HR function, delivering front line support to managers and employees, you will complete a 15-month apprenticeship for a Foundation Certificate in People Practice accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development
- **CIPD**).You will attend live online workshops to gain the knowledge required, in addition will complete a variety of online and work-based activities to demonstrate competence.**As part of your duties, you will be responsible for**:

HR Administration - supporting staff and the business in;**
- Onboarding new employees
- Payroll processing
- Benefits administration
- Facilitating the leaver process
- Immigration compliance
- Right to work checks
- **HR Projects - supporting a wide range of HR projects that include
**- Diversity and Inclusion
- Employee Engagement which includes Wellbeing, CSR and Women in EXL
- The Annual HR Calendar - activities such as Pay Reviews and Performance Management
- Implementation of HR new HR process, policies and procedures
- **Business Partnering with one area of the business to deliver their people agenda**
- Managing ER cases as applicable
- Implementing restructuring programmes
- Driving and encouraging Learning and Development
- Organize and maintain personnel records
- Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
- Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
- Revise company policies
- Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
- Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
- Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
- Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
- The role requires close liaison with our HR Shared Service Centre, which is located in India. Therefore, experience of working in a globally distributed diverse team environment is extremely beneficial**Signs of success for us would be**:

HR experience within an organization with more than 200 employees
- We are looking for an HR Administrator to support our Human Resources department in the UK and Ireland. You will be the first point of contact for employees and external parties regarding HR-related issues
As the HR department, you are responsible for ensuring our employees are supported while adhering to labour laws

**Skills we consider to be essential for the role**:

- Experience as an HR Administrator, HR Advisor or other relevant role
An understanding of labour laws and practices
- Ability to prioritize important projects with excellent organizational skills
Confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Apprentices without level 2 English and Maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End Point Assessment and full support will be provided
