**The Role: Payroll Administrator**

Join our dynamic team at PIB Group as a Payroll Administrator

We're on the lookout for a skilled and seasoned expert to become an essential component of our Payroll Administration team. Within our nurturing and motivating workplace, you'll assume a vital responsibility in ensuring precise payroll assistance for the organisation.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Payroll Administrator, you will:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll administrative queries.
- Process PIB's monthly payroll by collecting and organising data from various business units, ensuring proper authorization and accurate logging.
- Manage starters and leavers, including prorated payments.
- Maintain precise payroll records through data gathering, calculation, and input.
- Ensure adherence to payroll policies, procedures, and legal compliance.
- Maintain utmost confidentiality of employee pay records.
- Generate and distribute payroll reports to the finance department.
- Collaborate effectively with the HR Administration team to ensure accurate employee data.
- Ensure compliance with Pension Auto Enrolment regulations.
- Calculate and input maternity, paternity, and shared parental leave pay.
- Meet all monthly payroll deadlines.
- Administer company benefits, preparing payroll reports, and accurately inputting benefit details and deductions.
- Verify appropriate authorizations before processing payroll changes.

**Experience**:
To excel in this role, you'll need:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll or finance.
- Proficiency in Excel and strong administrative skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with an aptitude for peer checking.
- Organised and efficient approach with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Confidence in communicating with stakeholders across the business.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, transactional environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Forward-thinking and capable of meeting tight deadlines under pressure.
