Sheridan Maine is partnering with a recognised leader in its field to find a talented and detail-oriented temporary Accounts Payable Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a prominent company and gain valuable experience in a temporary capacity.
As a temporary Accounts Payable Assistant, you will be an essential part of the finance team, responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions. This temporary role offers a unique opportunity to work with a market leader and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Processing supplier invoices and ensuring accurate coding.- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies.- Preparing and processing payment runs.- Assisting with month-end closing procedures.- Collaborating with internal teams to resolve payment-related queries.- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the accounts payable system.**To excel in this temporary role, you should have**:

- Previous experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.- Good communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
