**JOB OVERVIEW**

Our Lancaster Univeristy International Study Centre are looking for short-term support within the student administration team. This is a campus-based role and would ideally suit someone from either an administration, education or customer service background. This an exciting opportunity to gain experience with a leader in global education and build a brighter future for international students.

This dynamic position offers a high-energy work environment where you can have a significant impact on students worldwide. As part of the International Study Centre (ISC), you will assume a leadership role in managing assessments, exams, and coursework. You will serve as the primary point of contact for students, ensuring seamless operations and a positive experience for both staff and students. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in the Student Experience Team, contributing to the overall outstanding experience students have while preparing for their future studies at Lancaster University.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Check all assessment and examination results are entered and recorded correctly
- Ensure that exam papers are printed and available in a timely manner
- Ensure the secure storing and archiving of exam records including exam papers, attendance records and invigilator reports
- To assist students with completing forms and attending meetings
- Production and distribution of interim reports, documents, and updating trackers
- To provide student-facing advice and support
- To provide general admin support for the ISC as required and cover admin duties for other members of staff when absent/on leave and during peak periods
- Identify and promote social activities in and around the University campus that provide ISC students with the opportunity to integrate into the university
- Provide assistance with the Staff/Student Liaison Committee, including the arrangement of dates and minute taking
- Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students with whom you come into contact with.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience working with a student management system
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, in particular, Word and Excel
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent Communication skills with a good standard of written English
- Organisational Skills
- Works on their own initiative and is a good team player
- Joint Council for Qualifications regulations knowledge
- Further and Higher Education Courses/Structures experience.
