The Hub is the heart of our co-living space. A key area that we need to develop is infusing our culture into every single person that walks through the door and joins the community. This team is key to delivering a consistent co-living experience to all our members. The goal is to infuse our culture into every single person that walks through the door and joins the community. This ultimately begins with our communication and interaction before even those members decide to stay or live with us.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Assist Duty Manager implement and support multi-skilling in the key service areas to provide the best member experience.
- Responsible for all short and long stay arrivals.
- Have full operational knowledge of all community, co-living and short stay services and procedures.
- Responsible for executing our brand standards from the front of house.
- Compliance with all safety and security procedures, including regular building security walks, close down procedures and identifying and reporting health and safety breaches in a timely way.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation, making members feel welcome and safe, the moment they walk into the building on their first day to the moment they leave.
- Report and address any members’ feedback, sharing with the relevant teams.
- Manage the mail and parcels.
- To be responsible for the time management of The Hub in the absence of the Duty Manager, ensuring daily operations are managed efficiently.
- Provide a warm welcome to new members when they move in.
- Being proactive and reactive to any operational tasks to ensure a smooth operation.
- Responsible for all billing, posting and accounts transactions on each shift, ensuring that banking is completed in compliance with brand and operational procedures.
- Maintain effective key and building security. Deal with lost property and challenge and report any suspicious activity or persons.
- To ensure all operational processes are being adhered to with the site team.
- Support and work with the Duty Manager for the purpose of improving the running of the site and upkeep of the building.
- Ownership of allocations, ensuring all member arrivals and departures are carried out correctly.
- Deliver personal and memorable customer service.
**Desired Skills and Experience**:
We require someone with 1+ years hotel experience, you must be highly organised as you will take accountability and ownership of all our front of house processes.
We’re looking for a genuine people person as you will be delivering the front line service to our members. You will be working closely with a very passionate team. You must possess the ability to think on your feet and make smart decisions, fast. We work in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same.
