**Temporary Support Officer / Admin x3 - Repairs**
**Reference no: S Tyneside Repairs SO**
**Pay rate: £14.61 per hour PAYE**
**Role Length: This opening assignment is for 13 months** A Support Officer is required to work in a repairs and maintenance setting, assisting in the day to day admin duties to assist the management, team leaders and surveyors in the claiming of job tickets, raising orders for services and materials, contacting customers to arrange appointments for work and dealing with customer queries and requests. Key responsibilities:

- Support the repairs team as appropriate by way of data input and/or extracting data.
- Maintain filing systems, both manual and electronic, which may include information relating to the team.
- Undertake any clerical and administrative support duties specific to the post.
- Manage a demanding workload in a responsive way to assist in meeting key objectives and external regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with other staff and external customers, as a point of contact for the team.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of Level 3 Business Admin.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced customer focused environment.
- Experience of efficiently operating office systems and business administration.
- Experience in investigating and responding to customer complaints.

**Skills**:

- Sensitive to the differing needs of all tenants.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Filing management skills.
- Ability to relay technical aspects of housing maintenance.
- Ability to prioritise the workload and ensure immediate problems are speedily processed.
- Good numerical and verbal skills.
- Strong IT skills using Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
