The Business

Seminar Components remains the sole UK based original designed and manufacturer of action seating mechanisms, leading the market in bespoke life and recline seating mechanisms.

Over the last 6 years we have been exporting our products to Europe and consequently, the company is growing fast. To aid this growth and make way for future developments Seminar has recently relocated to a 60,000sq ft facility.

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Customer service administrator to join our growing manufacturing company. You will be reporting into the Financial Director and will:

- Process customer sales orders accurately
- Plan and prioritise Customer contacts and communicate with the Production Planner to ensure Customer orders can be fulfilled.
- Attend daily production meetings to discuss all aspects of sales and despatch.
- Build professional working relationships with Customers to ensure generation of future sales.
- Communicate with Company hauliers to follow up on delayed deliveries.
- Work on your own initiative to answer customer queries providing a quick response to problems to solve any potential issues that could prevent a sales order i.e. pricing, pallet quantities and lead times

Working hours & environment

Office hours are 37 hours per week working 08:00am to 16:30pm Monday to Thursday and 07:30am to 12:30pm Friday.
