**Your role in a nutshell**:
We are recruiting a permanent Data and Systems Specialist for our global HQ in London Bridge (hybrid working). The Data Expert will enable the collection analysis and use of data to drive The Body Shop R&D innovation and sustainability strategies.

Supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of R&D data modelling strategy, including intelligence/digital projects implementation. Identifying and addressing data and reporting gaps, supporting R&D to utilize effective data analysis and visualization to support wider company strategies. Responsible for R&D data enrichment, KPI management and report generation.

Support the delivery of R&D data collection and analytics automation. Support skills development of colleagues, promoting a learning data culture within the team and increasing data literacy across R&D and Operations

Work with the R&D Data and Systems Expert to deliver the Body Shop R&D Digital transformation journey

Identify current and future R&D opportunities to capture efficiencies and smart work through automation

Scout and implement digital solutions (tools, methods of working and processes)

Drive digital mindset and capabilities in R&D organization (agile, fast prototyping, digital literacy, etc).

Implement the R&D data enrichment, data analysis and data visualization strategy

Develop deploy and maintain analytical models to provide R&D strategic reports.

Develop and deploy reporting solutions (dashboards, trackers, live reports) that enables better, timelier, decisions to be made by the business

Manage the implementation of internal process improvements, such as automations and performance monitoring

Lead the troubleshooting of data and model issues and implement fixes

Generate Innovation and Sustainability insights based on R&D data

Support the communication of technical insight from visualisations to senior leaders in a business-oriented and pragmatic way

Collaborate with Natura&co companies to leverage efficiencies in R&D data enrichment and to support The Body Shop R&D data strategy, KPIs and reports rationales

Collaborating with R&D and Sourcing teams (R&I, Packaging, Safety & Integrity, Direct and Sustainable Sourcing) to develop strategic sustainability / product development projects

Implement rapid proofs-of-concept delivering end to end delivery data solutions.

**What we look for**:

- Proven experience in Digital Transformation strategy design and implementation and knowledge on emerging technologies (cloud, AI, IOT, etc) and working methods (Agile, Design thinking, Prototyping)
- A technical expert with people collaboration skills to support an effective Data Science capability.
- Strong analytical and numerical ability - able to analyse, interpret and evaluate data
- Strong Knowledge of analytical and visualisation tools e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Etc
- Knowledge across programming languages or tools suitable for analyses (e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud, Azure Synapse, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, R, Python, Java)
- Experience of databases and data modelling for analytical models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain and report on your findings
- A problem-solver who can work through complex issues and focus on identifying and delivering solutions when challenges occur
- Able to work in an Agile model
- Focus on rapid prototyping to get feedback and turn them into lasting solutions.
- Knowledge across other data disciplines such as architecture and infrastructure
- Nice to have working experience in consumer goods companies in roles related to products development process
- Previous experiences working with Product Vision is a differential to the role.
