**Job description**:
**About the role**

The advertised post sits within the GPG Business Management Team, a team responsible for providing the essential support functions needed by the business unit to ensure its successful running. GPG is a recently formed unit following a merger of two existing teams, so there will be an opportunity for the post holder to learn new skills, develop new products and processes and positively influence the immediate and wider team culture. As GPG continues to form, the post holder will be expected to be responsive to its evolving needs, so they will need to be comfortable working in a changing environment and across boundaries.

**Duties**
- Lead in the production and maintenance of Management Information Dashboards and reports.
- Establish effective Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and track organisational performance against them.
- Work closely with the team lead to develop, establish and embed a suite of Tableau-created dashboards/reports that make best use of available data to enrich and improve business discussions and outcomes.
- Support the corporate services team in improving data maturity for the wider business unit and embedding people analytics best practice.
- Oversee the management of GPG data held in workforce data systems, including staff in post spreadsheets, Organimi and OrgVue.
- Ensure robust data standards are established and maintained.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with line management of at least one direct report.

**Person specification**:
**Knowledge and Skills**

**Essential**
- High level of competency in everyday spreadsheet packages like MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience of data analysis and associated software packages.
- Proven ability to utilise and present data in a manner that engages audiences and improves business conversations and outcomes.
- Experience of producing management dashboards that convey complex information using clear and concise visualisations.
- The ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with colleagues from all backgrounds and at all levels of seniority.

**Desirable**
- Experience of Tableau.
- Qualification in, or experience of, People Analytics.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365.
