Adult Social Care encompasses a wide range of vital services covering;
- Social Work Services - we work with individuals who have care and support needs, and with their carers be they older or younger adults
- Occupational Therapy and Equipment Services - we aim to enhance people’s ability to live safely and independently in their home
- Internally Provided Services - we provide direct support to people enabling those in most need to live independent and fulfilled lives
- Business Systems and Continuous Improvement - we provide a range of services including Financial Assessments, provider payment processing and Business Systems administration. The Business Systems team provide support to Adult Social Care, Children’s Services and Education Services.

What is the job role?
Coventry ICES and OPAL services are seeking to recruit an experienced administration team leader. The team leader will be responsible for supporting and leading ICES and OPAL administration staff.

This varied role would cover a range of administration and leadership duties including administrative support to help run the equipment service by dealing with and resolving queries over the phone or face-to-face, inputting data for reporting purposes, maintaining computerised and manual filing systems, retrieving information as requested, and ensuring that information is kept up to date, managing stationeries, note-taking.

This post holder will be responsible for staff supervision, appraisal and professional development. Provide team management support including performance management and development of admin staff. The person should have capability to identify staff learning needs and arrange appropriate training needed.

The post holder will be dealing with complain and need to have negotiation skill.

Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for warm, positive and dedicated individuals to work in our equipment service, who can provide effective management / leadership skill to support ICES team in Coventry. The person should have supervision experience and ability to manage small team training and learning needs.

We are looking for team leader with a good knowledge of numeracy, literacy and ability to use office system effectively (word/excel/PPT etc)

The person need to have excellent communication skills, be flexible, be able to deal with a diverse range of people, be able to demonstrate sensitivity and empathy when dealing with difficult service users, manage conflicting priorities and manage teams.

The person should have an ability to use procurement process as part of role to purchase small goods.
