**Key Responsibilities**:

- Health and Safety of yourself and others. To carry out all activities in a manner that promotes safety

to yourself and your colleagues. You are the senior person on site and lead the depot.
- Lead the team to ensure all daily deliveries are completed.
- Ensure accurate loading, unloading, and delivery of all van orders to customers OTIF.
- Manage site attendance, staff time sheets and holidays.
- Optimoroute and telematics owner or guru.
- Work with driver agencies to ensure to cover for all areas.
- Accurately checking and verifying all stock is correct on all vehicles.
- Ensuring products are packed safely and securely, so as not to be damaged in transit.
- Ensure site compliance on completing vehicle check sheets and vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure all are driving the vehicle in line with all statutory and legislative regulations.
- KPI owner data entry on all agreed system sheets.
- Ensure you are professional, courteous and supportive to our customers at all times.
- Potential risks, problems, or product defects are reported immediately and resolved or highlighted to Transport Manager
- Reporting any issues, vehicle defects or delivery problems daily in a timely fashion for all vans.
- Participate actively in continuous process improvement projects, seek ways to develop and maximise customer service levels.
- Ensure all business and individual key performance indicators are met.
- Contribute actively to achieving departmental service level and targets.
- Lifting, moving, protecting, wrapping, and managing all products with all due care and attention.
- Using all equipment respectfully, safely, and as trained including vehicles, phones, computers & the WMS.
- No smoking on vehicles and all must check vehicles daily and report any and all issues.
- Use driving App and ensure compliance to all required driving standards.
- Vehicle safety checks and keep vehicle safe, clean and tidy.
- Managing returns and collections at the depot.
- Driver cover as and when required.
- Cost control of depot.

Performance Standards:

- Leader ambassador to all customers and the public
- Always show dignity and respect with customers, colleagues, drivers, and visitors.
- Speed, accuracy, reliability, and honesty.
- Handle all stock with care to avoid any possible damages.
- Check, count and accurately manage all stock.

**Salary - up to £37,310 inc Bonus.**

**Employment Type - Permanent 45 hours per week (unpaid 30-minute lunch)**
