NHFT are looking for an experienced Band 3 Health Care Support Worker to join the Long-Term Conditions team that provides care for children and young people with complex health care needs within a variety of community setting including the child and family's home.
This rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join other experienced Health Care Support Workers to provide short breaks for parents/carers with children with complex health care needs and support the long-term conditions nursing staff in managing supplies and equipment for children.

When not providing Respite Sessions the individual will work closely with the CCN’s to manage and provide equipment and supplies for children within the service, facilitate small clinics for children requiring Overnight Oxygen Saturations and manage the stocks and supplies used by the wider teams.
NHFT is an integrated primary care and mental health Trust, providing physical, mental health and specialty services in both hospital settings and out in the community. Because we put the person at the centre of all we do, we focus on delivering care that is as easy to access as possible. This means many of our services can be provided at home, work or in schools. We also provide health services to various prisons and detention centres in Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
