We’re seeking a **Customer Service & Internal Sales Team Lead **for our client based in **Birmingham**.
£35,000 + commission
Join a family-run packaging manufacturing firm with more than 75 years’ experience - focused on encouraging and providing greener alternatives, using renewable and **sustainable** sources, as well as **recycled** materials.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven individual to join our experienced team as a Customer Service Team Leader, to support our focus on innovative and environmentally friendly packaging.
You will be keen to develop eye-catching boxes and tapes which enhance your customers’ brand as well as promoting a wide range of protective packaging from stock.
You will lead a small Customer Service team, providing guidance to ensure excellent customer service is achieved across the Company, building our reputation and improving customer loyalty.
The role will suit someone who is hands-on and has a **previous track record of success in new business development** as you will also be responsible for a small territory to maintain and develop.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee the complete customer journey to ensure the optimum experience, whether through direct selling, website enquiries or other marketing initiatives.
- Ensure successful sales in own territory.
- Lead and offer support to our existing Customer Service team to strengthen existing working practices and to reach targets.
- Support with product enquiries and help to develop the best solutions for customers.
- Process orders and ensure accuracy in all sales office administration.
- Manage customer accounts including expanding the range of products purchased through proactively contacting customers.
- Help to plan, execute and analyse sales and marketing campaigns.
- Be responsible for designing and monitoring customer feedback and examine data to analyse performance and suggest departmental improvements for the future.
- Liaise with the Purchasing, Design, Production and Warehouse departments to ensure excellent customer service.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Self-motivated and confident to use own initiative but equally able to work as a team.
- Able to motivate and inspire your colleagues.
- Organized with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and keep to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to maintain excellent relationships with both colleagues and customers.
- Problem solving skills to identify and rectify issues, aiming for continual improvements.
- Previous experience in such roles as customer service, internal sales, B2B marketing.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
