ABOUT THE ROLE

Strive Community Care provides therapeutic home environments for children and young people with histories of complex trauma, abuse and neglect. We utilise a strong Therapeutic Framework and unique CREATE Model of Care with a focus on establishing holistic safety. Children and young people are provided with a sense of family, support to heal, opportunity to positively connect with others, and rebuild their lives.

We are now seeking an Administration Assistant to support management and the functioning of the office. The position is a permanent, full-time role working out of our Seventeen Mile Rocks Office.

**Duties of the successful applicant include**:

- Answering incoming calls at Reception, greeting office visitors, and answering messages.
- Administrative tasks including processing invoices, ordering stationery and supplies, checking mail, and managing meeting room bookings.
- Participating in various tasks, projects, and quality improvements, as needed and assigned.
- Supporting regulatory compliance through providing administrative support such as managing vehicle registrations, fire safety scheduling, etc.

- A high level of attention to detail and thoroughness
- Prioritise multiple tasks of high importance and high risk
- Great initiative and the ability to work autonomously
- Team player, willingness to show flexibility, and assist team as and when agreed priorities change
- Administration or business support experience
- Experience with accounts and reconciliation (non-essential but encouraged to apply)
- Hold or willing to attain a valid Blue Card (QLD WWCC) & Yellow Card (Disability Worker Screening)
- Hold a current unrestricted QLD drivers licence (or equivalent)
