TMM Recruitment is providing exclusive support to an excellent Scottish charity, to recruit a new Part-Time HR Advisor in Aberdeen for at least the next 6 months. This fixed-term contract assignment supports the organisation’s HR Team in the Central Belt, whilst partnering with Aberdeen-based Managers and employees. Working 22.5 hours per week (with flexible working patterns), this role is best suited to an experienced Generalist who is well-versed at supporting employee relations and organisational development.

**Overview**
- Providing comprehensive delivery of a professional, customer-focused HR business partnering service for the charity’s services.
- Working collaboratively with other members of the Human Resources Team (HR, Learning and Development and Payroll).

**Human Resources Management**
- Overseeing all elements of the employee lifecycle processes for Aberdeen-based employees.
- Providing detailed advice on HR issues to Managers e.g., discipline, grievance, capability, and inclusion.
- Empowering Managers and Team Leaders to handle employee issues before they escalate.
- Ensuring timescales are achieved in accordance with the relevant policy.
- Assisting in the review of ER policies and standard operating procedures in collaboration with HR leadership.
- Liaising with HR colleagues where any outcomes from casework will impact on the employment contract.
- Creating and producing accurate HR business reports.

**Coaching and Development**
- Developing coaching toolkits for Managers and Team Leaders, in collaboration with Learning and Development.
- Delivering coaching sessions.
- Identifying any potential for learning and development.

**Applicants to this role require**
- Chartered Member of the CIPD, or demonstrable skills and experience.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Experience in a HRBP/Advisor role.
- Experience of supporting managers with their employee issues.
- Experience of managing complex casework (including ill health, discipline, grievance, capability, bullying and harassment).
- Experience of writing HR documents for a variety of audiences.
- Project management skills.
- Knowledge of ER legislation and best practice.
- Ability to work with a degree of autonomy and manage a range of HR tasks.
- Ability to build strong relationships with managers and employees.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**Additional Information**
- You would need to be comfortable being the charity’s standalone HR professional in Aberdeen, albeit with regular support and collaboration from colleagues elsewhere in Scotland.
- Your 22.5 hour working week (0.6 FTE) can be fulfilled across three full days, five shorter days, or anything in between.
- Hybrid working is available, with encouragement to be in the office more-often-than-not (e.g. 2 days in the office, 1 from home).
- Parking is available by request.
- You would be employed directly by the charity (as opposed to being a temporary agency worker via TMM Recruitment) and accordingly you would be entitled to staff benefits for the duration of the contract.
