The School of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences is seeking a full time Head of Student Support and Enhancement on an open-ended basis.

**The Opportunity**:
As a key leader within our Professional Services group, the Head of Student Support and Enhancement will provide strategic oversight and is responsible for leading on and coordinating projects that relate to enhancement of the student experience across the School.

They will collaborate closely with academic staff and professional services staff enabling enhancement of the PPLS taught portfolio, student experience as well as provide line management guidance and support for our group of Student Advisers.

The ability to build positive and supportive working relationships with academic and professional services colleagues is a must and the post-holder will manage the delivery of a wide portfolio of services across a range of support levels, liaising with a variety of both internal and external stakeholders to the school/university.

Please note that whilst hybrid work arrangements can be discussed at the time of offer, on campus working is required for this role.

The role is a full-time position and whilst there is flexibility on exact work pattern there is an expectation for work to occur across the standard working week (i.e. Monday - Friday).

**Your skills and attributes for success**
- Strong leadership skills including the ability to lead, inspire and motivate teams.
- Proven knowledge and experience of the current UK HE policy context in relation to student experience and key themes across the sector.
- Proven experience of project management within a complex and multi-stakeholder environment.
