The post holder will have responsibility to manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations within their profession.

The role will include working closely with other stakeholders; provide support relating to any day to day operational matters.

The post holder will communicate and negotiate with internal and external contractors, GP practices and senior management on complex matters to ensure problematic areas is addressed professionally, to promote joint working between various disciplines.

To liaise on current working practices to promote a culture of continuous improvement reporting to the Assistant Facilities Manager.

A full UK driving licence is required for this role.

Support the management of the Buildings and facilities staff; this includes planning staff rotas where applicable for the cover of the reception during annual leave and sickness. Ensuring that annual leave is coordinated across the area. Conducting staff appraisals, HR duties, including and adhering to the sickness policy, exit interviews and provide support in recruitment in conjunction with the Facilities Lead.

Oversee the safe and effective running of the Building’s, reporting any issues appropriately, this includes working with other designates in ensuring that the annual updates of all Risk Assessments relating to Fire, Health and Safety and Environmental are completed, updates and monitored

Support on management of car parking/permits and signage arrangements at all sites.

Supporting with commissioning and decommissioning.

To ensure that standards are met in order to comply with internal and external inspections including ERIC, CQC, PLACE and Environmental safety.
