Peacocks Medical Group are a multi-award-winning family group providing outstanding care in the national delivery of both clinical services and medical equipment throughout the UK.
At our Newcastle upon Tyne facility, we have a dedicated team of Orthotic Technicians who manufacture a wide range of Orthotic products for our NHS and private clients.
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Co-Ordinator to join us at our Newcastle upon Tyne offices on a full time, permanent basis.
The Customer Service Co-Ordinator role reports to the Customer Service Manager and will have responsibility for their assigned customer base and a liaison between our manufacturing facility and customers.
**Overview of the role**:
- Deliver of an outstanding customer service by maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
- Answer customer queries and resolve issues in a prompt and timely manner.
- Process customer orders through internal record management systems.
- Manage customer expectations, advising on lead times, share product knowledge and available alternatives.
- Report and escalate customer queries to the Customer Service Manager as appropriate.
- Carry out reception duties as and when required
- Support other team members as and when required.
- Process customer orders.
- Coordinate returns with the Warehouse and arrange replacements.
- Take card payments as and when required.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update information as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Follow company policies and procedures to deliver consistent service excellence.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required**:
- Relevant recent experience in a similar customer/patient centric environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational & prioritisation skills in a fast paced demanding environment.
- High attention to detail.
- Good IT proficiency.
- Always maintains levels of confidentiality.
- Willing to assist colleagues where necessary.
- High customer service ethic - is passionate about meeting customer expectations and improving service levels.
- Can do attitude
- Takes accountability and initiates action, rather than waiting for someone else to do it.
