**Role Summary**

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious digital content producer to play a key role in enhancing public engagement at a leading University. You will develop and deliver high quality digital content that engages public audiences with our cutting edge research and outstanding cultural collections, building engaged online audiences and attendance at events and exhibitions through original, relatable and accessible digital content and marketing.

In this role you will report to the Head of Public Programmes and work with colleagues across the Public Programming team.

**Main Duties**

**Content Production**
- To scope, plan, develop and deliver creative and thought-provoking digital engagement opportunities for social media and websites to provide new opportunities to experience the University’s research.
- Work collaboratively to identify opportunities for innovative digital public engagement content and campaigns, aiming to engage and facilitate two-way dialogue with agreed audiences and to generate excitement and interest.
- To project manage the development and execution of digital content for various outputs such as short promo videos, vox pops, and interactive touchscreens, to be used online and as part of our in-person public programme.
- To work with colleagues to develop and deliver content which will widen access to our public programme and expand our offer (eg. virtual tours, digital interpretation, multi-language audio guides).
- Continually expand the reach and growth of our social media presence, tracking and analysing performance and interpreting data to make recommendations to improve the audience experience.
- To support updates and maintenance of relevant webpages on the UoB website.

**Programme Coordination and Promotion**
- Develop and execute tailored digital marketing campaigns to promote our programme of public exhibitions, activities and events, in order to maximise attendance and participation with agreed target audiences.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive content schedule, which brings together digital and social media plans designed to promote our public programme, drive traffic, enhance engagement, and foster an active digital community activities.
- Coordinate content publishing across platforms, ensuring integration with the University’s digital channels.
- To manage and maintain our digital mailing lists and contribute regular digital content for dissemination on our e-newsletters.
- Coordinate online event registrations and utilise digital tools to streamline attendee registration, communication, and data capture.
- To undertake late evening and occasional weekend work in support of our public programme.

- To work closely with colleagues across External Relations and the wider University, including academic and professional services staff, taking a joined
