Robb Ferguson Chartered Accountants are a long-established independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors based in Glasgow city centre founded in 1882.
The firm provide a full range of accountancy, audit, tax, bookkeeping and payroll services to our client base who are principally small and medium sized businesses. The firm takes pride in delivering these services to our clients in a highly professional, efficient and personal way.
**Job description**
It would also be preferrable that you are familiar with using Microsoft Office packages. You will also have good written English as well as strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills both face to face and on the telephone.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide administrative support to internal departments within the firm.
- Working as part of our “front of house” team including answering and directing incoming telephone calls efficiently, welcoming all clients, visitors and acting as host to create excellent relationships.
- Assistance with preparation of monthly billing cycle.
- Assistance with the drafting and preparation of outbound correspondence.
- Company secretarial services including Companies House submissions.
- Making hand deliveries as required.
- Manage and scanning of all incoming mail, dealing with outgoing mail, parcels and liaising with couriers.
- Processing incoming payments and issuing VAT receipts.
- Other ad-hoc admin duties, as required.
The job is a full-time permanent position with working hours covering Monday to Friday from 9 to 5, with one hour’s lunch and will be office based in our Glasgow City Centre Office.
