**The Role**

A Security Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the team's endearing security policies and procedures, assisting with security audits, assessments, and Security Planning and executing events in EMEA when requested, as well as providing security training to employees and Safety and Security staff. Security Coordinators also play an important role in responding to security incidents and in ensuring that applicable security regulations are followed.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Investigate and respond to security incidents
- Train employees on security awareness topics such as Tailgating, scams, social engineering, Visitor escorts, etc.
- Maintain security systems and equipment.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security threats and trends.
- Maintain security-related vendor relationships from the guidance from the EMEA Safety and Security manager alongside places and landlords.
- Prepare and maintain security reports for management.
- Support the Global Security Events team by creating Security event plans and executing events in EMEA upon request
- Lead on additional projects upon request
- Oversee the work of security guards and receptionist during daily operations
- Enforce security policies and procedures
- Assist EMEA Safety and Security management with keeping track and ensuring all regional Security and Reception personnel up to date with mandatory training

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal
- SIA or CP Licence
- Competent in using google sheets
- 3+ years of experience in a Security supervisor role or Security coordination related field.
- Experience in responding to security incidents.
- Experience in providing security training to employees.
- Experience in conducting security awareness training programs and drills.
- Knowledge of security threats and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Prior experience in Events Security management

**Additional Notes**:

- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to travel as needed.
