We are a University Health Board working in partnership with Swansea University, Swansea School of Medicine, the School of Health Science and the Institute of Life Science. The HB has three major hospitals providing a range of services: Morriston and Singleton hospitals in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot hospital in Baglan, Port Talbot.
The Health Board is part of A Regional Collaboration for Health (ARCH), which is a partnership with Hywel Dda UHB and Swansea University. Aimed at improving the wellbeing and wealth of South West Wales.
Anyone interested in the post is strongly encouraged to discuss the role and with Dr Ann Benton, Clinical Lead
This post does not include a requirement for an on-call commitment. Clinical Tutors should not participate in intensive out of hours work as this will have a negative impact on their teaching time. If they wish to participate in out of hours work which will not adversely impact on the Clinical Tutor role they should discuss this with Dr Benton.
The incumbent is required to make arrangements to back-fill teaching when they are on leave to ensure that all students have similar learning opportunities during their specialty attachment.
