**JOB SUMMARY**

The primary responsibility of the Content and Social Media Executive will be to create and collect content to support the overall social media content strategy for each of our unique brands throughout Southwark Quarter and Lafayette. Storytelling and building awareness of the brands are at the heart of this role. A key member of the Marketing team, the Content and Social Media Executive will be highly creative, detail-oriented, and highly organised.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Shoot and edit high-quality, engaging content for each venue to be posted as social reels. Shoots will be required on various days and time as necessary for the needs of the business.
- Continuously monitor competitor activity and reactive social trends that could be relevant for the brands.
- Research creative ideas on how to execute social content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X.
- Work closely with the marketing, brand and creative directors to develop engaging yearly and marketing campaign led social media strategies for each venue.
- Assist with professional on-site photo shoots and video shoots whenever required
- Brief the creative agencies on asset requirements and idea generation, as well as creating and completing briefs and shot lists for videographers and photographers.
- Plan and manage content calendars for multiple tvg brands and accounts, ensuring comms align with marketing plans and business needs. Update the senior team every Monday for the week ahead while providing overarching month-long content calendars.
- Write social copy for captions in alignment with each brand's tone of voice.
- Utilise and analyse hashtags to optimise posts.
- Manage community management for all tvg brands, including responses to all direct messages and comments in a professional and timely manner in each brand’s unique voice.
- Pull monthly social media reports to share with tvg stakeholders.
- Re-share relevant and on-brand user generated content and press snippets on each brand's social stories.
- Ensure Instagram highlights and bio are regularly updated.
- Create and post interactive and engaging story series such as polls to help drive engagement with our followers.
- Build great relationships across the business with teams including marketing, creative and on-site teams such as general managers, bar managers, and chefs.

**PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & PREREQUISITES**
- Fully available to work a flexible schedule so as to ensure presence at content shoots outside of standard office hours
- One year minimum experience in the social media industry
- Proven experience at Social Media Assistant or Social Media Executive level (or equivalent)
- Previous experience creating and editing Instagram Reels is ideal. Experience with tik tok content is highly favourable
- Strong passion for social media and strong inclination to follow industry trends
- Working knowledge of Excel, Canva, Word, Sprout Social, Google docs etc
- High attention to detail with excellent communication skills and brand aesthetics Capable of working in a reactive and fast-paced environment
