Do you want to help manage projects, co-ordinate activities, influence the agenda, and share the solutions that will support London boroughs to end rough sleeping? Are you an experienced practitioner or commissioner of homelessness services with a desire to overcome some of the difficult challenges and barriers faced in London as we seek to make rough sleeping rare, brief and non-recurrent? If so, this may be the role for you.

There are significant challenges to helping people move off the streets and sustain housing - particularly faced by those with complex needs and/or limited or uncertain entitlements to public funds - but you will work with a group of boroughs in one of London’s sub-regions to find solutions, join up working, build partnerships, and promote collaboration across organisations, making a real difference to how well London achieves its shared strategic objective of ending rough sleeping.

We are looking for a highly motivated person with a track record of positively influencing and shaping projects and relationships to achieve results and someone who possesses the ability to work flexibly and collaboratively in a dynamic and quickly changing policy environment.

It is desirable for you to have experience of delivering, managing or commissioning services or projects for rough sleepers or other single homeless people.

The role will require that you work very closely with the London boroughs in your designated sub-region, with central Government departments, with London Councils and the Greater London Authority, with the health system, London Probation and prisons, and service providers to deliver sub-regional initiatives and projects that contribute to preventing or tackling rough sleeping across a range of areas. You will build effective relationships across sectors, communicate, negotiate and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, as well as using your experience of creative problem solving and managing a varied workload of projects in a pressurised environment.

**Interview Dates: 17/18 August 2023**

As a Disability Confident Employer, London Councils will interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the post
