An administrative hub to support Orthotic and Prosthetic services at Colchester has recently been formed and requiring an administrative team that is proactive, quick to learn and willing to support and enact change. Whilst a fixed term role, finishing on 31stDecember 2024, you will be integral to this transformation project, supporting standardisation of care across ESNEFT to become effective and efficient.

Fast tracked experience working in outpatient settings, procuring Orthotic equipment, and managing patient pathways will provide develop a well-rounded skillset that should help springboard you onto further employment and progression.

To provide general admin and clerical support to the clinical team as requested by the Team Lead.

Play an integral role in delivery of effective administrative team, providing appropriate administration support to registered patients.

To use the relevant IT systems including to register patients, make appointments, input clinical letters, and correspond with GP surgeries, as required.

To answer telephone enquiries in a polite, helpful, and efficient manner to ensure appropriate follow through using initiative to deal with routine enquiries and referring complex queries to the appropriate person.

Support the administrative processes associated with outpatient clinics / referrals / inpatient referrals as required
