**About The Role**
Our HR support at The Grange has been on a journey, having previously been outsourced in 2018, we are now pleased to be creating a dedicated team in house and are searching for a HR & People Officer to join us.
Our HR & People Manager has been in place for 8 months and is now looking to strengthen the team with a HR & People Officer to support them in rebuilding the HR function and updating all people related processes.
The HR & People team provide a generalist HR service spanning the entire employee lifecycle for our workforce of approximately 150 permanent staff and 30 bank workers. As a newly created function, the team are working to update and embed procedures, so you must be comfortable dealing with a level of ambiguity, informality and flexibility whilst we work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure proposals are suitable.

We are a registered charity and social care provider, housing association and a skills for life provider, with a variety of departments (e.g. supported living, residential care, hospitality, creative arts, horticulture) that all have unique requirements, so it is essential that you are able to work flexibly and creatively in order to provide the best possible HR service to our diverse teams.
This is a great opportunity to use your people and communication skills to make a real difference to the team who spend their days supporting adults with learning disabilities lead independent and fulfilling lives.
This role is an onsite role (with flexibility to have the odd wfh day), but with 8 beautiful acres of grounds, an onsite swimming pool for you to use and great staff discount on healthy home cooked food from our onsite café, we think you’ll enjoy being here
You’ll be joining a team where 97.6% feel proud of the service they deliver and where we have a no blame culture as emphasised by 98.8% of the team saying they feel able to admit when they make a mistake. We’re proud to be a Mindful Employer and a Disability Confident Committed Employer and you’ll see and feel our values at every level.
