**What You'll Do**:
Primary responsibilities include:
- Human Resources and Employee Relations:_
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing induction materials, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating introductions to team members and key stakeholders.
- Ensure new employees have the necessary resources and information to start their roles effectively.
- Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, conducting exit interviews and ensuring the return of company property.
- Analyse exit interview data to identify trends and develop strategies for improving employee retention.
- Address and resolve employee relations issues, conducting investigations and providing mediation where necessary.
- Collaborate with the learning and development lead to arrange training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career progression.
- Culture and Engagement:_
- Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with the company's values and mission.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and retention.
- Attend weekly social meetings to help organise employee events, wellness programs, and team-building activities.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions to gauge employee satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create an inclusive work environment.
- Data Management and Reporting:_
- Collate and analyse data to create HR metrics and reports, providing insights into workforce trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and databases.
- Generate reports on key HR metrics such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction, and diversity statistics.
- Use data to inform strategic HR initiatives and decision-making processes.
- Facilities Management:_
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of office facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained and meet health and safety standards.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and functioning properly.
- Implement and monitor health and safety policies, conducting regular risk assessments and safety audits.
- Handle office space planning and allocation to optimise workspace efficiency.
- Address any facilities-related issues promptly and effectively.
**What You'll Bring**:
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is essential.
- Proven experience in a HR advisory role, with a focus on employee relations and engagement.
- Experience in facilities management, including health and safety compliance.
- Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Passion for personal and professional growth and a commitment to fostering a culture of learning within the organisation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
