The part time Research Personnel Administrator role is a key role in the Department of Chemistry as it provides efficient and effective administrative support in a very busy office dealing with staff, post graduate students and visitors. The role involves research personnel administration as well as assisting with general HR administration. This includes processing visitor agreements, generating letters, organising small scale events and meetings, taking meeting minutes, managing stationary supplies and liaising with other departments and organisations.

Full training will be provided on the University's financial systems and processes.

The role is for 25- 30 hours per week, days and hours to be worked will be negotiable on appointment.

The Department holds an Athena SWAN silver award for women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine.
