Applications are invited for the post of Research Centre/Project Administrator within the Centre for Distributed Automation and Control (DIAL) based in Division E at the Institute for Manufacturing in West Cambridge. The Centre is one of twenty-three research centres and groups in Division E and incorporates the Auto-ID Laboratory, the Asset Management Centre and Manufacturing Analytics Centre at Cambridge.

The Research Centre/Project Administrator carries out a broad and extensive range of administrative support functions for all DIAL personnel, thereby maintaining and enhancing research and industrial outreach activities. You will also be required to act as personal assistant to the Head of the Group and provide support to the DIAL Management Team. In addition, you will provide general administrative support with regards to the Boeing Research Framework programme.

The ability to work as part of a team and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are also essential attributes for this role.

Maternity Cover: This post is fixed-term for 12 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
