**Wedding & Events Coordinator**
We are looking to recruit a dedicated Wedding & Events Coordinator who shares our vision, passion and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional weddings and events. The role involves managing and coordinating weddings and events, within a small and supportive team, working closely with Hotel Departments to ensure the details are executed to the highest standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is wanting to progress within the Hospitality Industry.
**About The Role**
**Person Specification - Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:
- Highly professional and committed to the wedding industry.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages particularly Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Co-ordinate the sales of weddings and events from enquiry stage to completion.
- Conduct venue viewings, manage availability, discuss requirements & budgets and convert enquiries.
- Preparing proposals & quotations.
- Work alongside the Sales & Events Manager to promote the business, increase turnover and develop new income generating initiatives, creative ideas & themes.
- Research and identify new trends and events to implement in the business.
- Undertake analysis of the competitive environment and trends and report to the business.
- Previous experience of coordinating weddings & events; in particular weddings (desired).
- Planning bridal fairs, attending wedding events to showcase & promote Hotel.
- Good understanding of different wedding cultures.
- Good understanding of catering requirements.
- Demonstrate the ability to create a relationship with the customer overt he phone & face to face.
- Comfortable with face to face meetings and regular meetings with customers.
- Creating timelines and ensuring that all details are executed flawlessly, must be highly organised, detail-oriented and have excellent communication skills.
- Communicate all changes in guest requirements to departments within the Hotel.
- Availability to work weekends.
- Excellent telephone and message taking etiquette.
- Focused on delivering a high level of customer/ client service.
- Confident and professional approach when dealing with clients and event suppliers.
- Able to work under pressure and multi task particularly during the peak seasons Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Desirable).
**Salary**: Negotiable

- Previous experience of running events; in particular private events such as weddings
- Previous experience in event sales and putting detailed proposals together
- Good understanding of different wedding cultures
- Good understanding of catering requirements

- Focused on delivering a high level of customer/ client service
