The Medical Specialties Division is looking to recruit a Dermatology Administration Assistant/clinic receptionist to work in the Dermatology department at University College London Hospital.

You will have key working relationships with all members of the administrative and clinical teams including nursing and medical staff, allied health professionals and support workers. You will act as the first point of contact (in phone and in person) in communication with patients, relatives and GPs and other external hospital staff / tertiary referrers.

The post-holder should be proactive and have excellent communication, good IT skills, excellent customer service and prioritise workloads for themselves to accommodate changing demands within the team and service.

The post holder will be based in the Dermatology outpatient department at Mortimer Market. They will be responsible for checking in patients and booking follow up appointments and Dermatology surgical procedures.

Previous experience of working in the NHS is desirable, however experience of working in an office environment or customer service role is an essential requirement for this role.
