This role will be working at one of their beautiful Gardens where you will have the opportunity to interact with visitors and the volunteers on a daily basis whilst taking in the spectacular views of the Garden

The role of Front of House/ Volunteer Coordinator is an extremely varied and exciting position You will be responsible for providing a friendly service to all visitors of the Garden as well as managing and coordinating all of the volunteers who work forthem. Other requirements of the role are:

- Delivering Exceptional, professional and first-class customer service
- Resolve any visitor complaints and issues with such confidence, whilst re-building relationships and liaising with anyone involved to ensure the issue is resolved efficiently
- Coordinate a team of Front of House support staff, managing rota’s including sickness and holiday cover whilst backfilling as appropriate
- Induct support, manage and retain volunteers through best management
- Develop learning opportunities for the volunteers as well as new opportunities for volunteer engagement (Events, Horticulture Training Courses, Online Learning etc)
- Assist in the admission area and store when necessary

**Required Experience**:

- Have an approachable and respectful manner and be great at interacting with others
- Be confident, well organised and have brilliant time management
- Good written and verbal skills
- Be an excellent communicator
- Have a passion for horticulture
- Have a positive 'can do’ attitude
- Be great at coordinating and planning ahead whilst often working under pressure
- GCSE’s grade C or above in Maths & English

Please note the working hours for this position are Wednesday to Sunday, 9AM - 5PM
