Aside from the Open Lobby, the Northampton hotel has 3 large function rooms, perfect for meetings, events and weddings.

We are looking for a Guest Services Assistant to support and complete the day to day tasks of the departmental operations.
You will be approachable and friendly people person with the willingness support and maintain a close relationship to our guests throughout their stay.

This role is a multi-tasking role, and you will be required to be adaptable to ensure that the needs of the guests are always met.

**About Us**:
Holiday Inn Northampton West has been crowned a winner at the international Hotel Stars Awards from InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).

The hotel is well located for Moulton Park and Swan Valley business parks. Race fans will enjoy the nearby Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit, Towcester Race Course and Rockingham Motor Speedway as well as Whilton Mill Carting. **Role in our Family**:

- Maintains knowledge of departmental standards and procedures
- Performs check in, check out and room change procedures and ensures all data are entered completely into the hotel systems in accordance with reservations
- Prepares all required information for a well handled group check in and check out
- Daily based cashier check of all open balances, especially city ledgers
- Maintains cashier float and ensues accurate daily report of all money receive
- Handles the correct billing of guest expenses
- Stays informed about all modifications to accounting policies and procedures
- Responsibility for the correct massage handling
- Daily check of all departures, informing guests about the late check out costs and procedures
