**Job Title: Document Management Senior Associate
- Hybrid**
**Position Summary**:
The jobholder will be responsible for supporting the Document Management team in coordinating all aspects of the documentation management lifecycle to ensure appropriate execution of activities critical to the ongoing health of the FCS UK site’s Document Management System and maintaining site compliance with related GxP requirements. This role is hybrid but there will be a need to be onsite at least 1 day per week in Horsham.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Contribute to the Quality department’s role in the ongoing management of electronic Document and Learning Management System (eDMS and eLMS) items.
- Support the processing of GxP documentation at FCS UK through the document lifecycle including generation, temporary storage and archiving.
- Be a key point of escalation and resolution for issues related to the document management lifecycle.
- Support maintenance of the Documentum (D2) eDMS and Success Factors eLMS at FCS UK.
- Support client and regulatory audits through timely provision of documentation including retrieval from on and off-site storage.
- Lead all aspects of the archiving process including collaborating closely with the off-site document storage supplier.
- Author and approve SOPs related to document management activities.
- Author and approve change controls, investigations and actions related to document management activities.
- Construct and provide both in-team and end-user training material.
- Input into global teams to drive global harmonization of associated processes.
- Support the successful integration of global documents into FCS UK local procedures.
- Involvement in continuous improvement plans and goals related to document management activities.
- Coordinate the daily workload of the Document Management team where required.
- Provide direction and support to Document Management Associates under the guidance of the Document Management and Training Team Leader.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Experience working within a document management role.
- Experience working within a GxP environment.
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**:
- Comprehensive understanding of the document management lifecycle and good documentation practice.
- Knowledge of documentation archiving processes and associated controls.
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload and that of a small team in order to deliver objectives within set timeframes.
- Understanding of how to make risk-based decisions, particularly with respect to GdocP.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all business levels.
- Able to competently navigate around electronic systems.
