**About us**:
The Department of Anthropology at UCL is a research-led department with an international reputation, offering innovative teaching programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We have approximately 220 UG students and 400 PGT students across our programmes, some of which are based at UCL East. The department is one of only a few broad-based anthropology departments in the UK comprising five sub-sections: Biological Anthropology, Social Anthropology, Material Culture, Medical Anthropology and Public Anthropology.

**About you**:
We seek applicants with previous experience of working in programme administration in a Higher Education environment who have demonstrable experience of initiating, reviewing and developing administrative systems and processes and an awareness of the issues relating to the effective management of academic programmes. Experience of working in a managerial or supervisory role, with responsibility for leading, motivating and developing colleagues would be ideal, and the ability to prioritise individual and team workloads in the context of key deadlines within the student lifecycle, UCL service standards, high volume and pressurised conditions is essential. We are looking for someone who is interested in the world and the people in it, and who wants to work positively and collaboratively with staff and students of all backgrounds to achieve our goals.
