In a function that handles customer injury and sickness claims and customer litigation, the Claims Audit and Controls and M.I. Manager will be responsible for improving and maintaining a robust risk-based control environment as well as developing and presenting a wide range of reports and other data internally and to relevant third-parties.

The role is based in Luton, but at TUI we believe work is something you do not somewhere you go therefore we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements for this role with a blend of office and home working.

**ABOUT THE JOB**
- Designing, developing, providing and explaining detailed claims related management information. Using a variety of tools you will produce those reports and share, providing appropriate narrative, with various stakeholders both within the function, more widely across the business and to external partners.
- Regularly produce housekeeping reports to identify anomalies within the data stored on the Riskonnect system and take steps to remedy or explain those anomalies.
- Work with relevant claims management and together be responsible for auditing internal personal injury claim files against service levels, generally accepted claims handling practices and internal claims handling practices for accuracy and quality control. You’ll provide feedback to team members and management as to the results of those audits.
- Monitor, implement, and develop controls and activity around the integrity of reserves and payments in the Riskonnect System and the interface between that system and relevant accounting systems.
- Work directly with contacts in finance to ensure that payments are fully reconciled to ensure accuracy of data contained in the systems and that insurance related transactions match those recorded in the ledger.
- Along with the claims team managers, you’ll be responsible for developing and fully maintaining the departments claims handling manuals and associated documents and training materials. You will also undertake a variety of administrative tasks and support department management wherever required.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Ideally you will have a background in litigation or insurance claims, you will have demonstrable experience of delivering excellent customer service and will have the ability to think innovatively in order to strive for continuous improvement.
- You’ll understand the commercial impact of decisions around claims and will have the skills-set to enable you to react to that impact appropriately. You will be capable of identifying trends and stories that data can tell, and easily identify whether the parameters of any given report have delivered what we expect to see. Along with the ability to monitor management in formation, you’ll be insightful and able to pre-empt any issues enabling you to respond quickly and appropriately.
- You’ll have a flexible and innovative attitude with the ability to efficiently change your approach or perception as new information arises. Being a champion of change, you’ll have a natural ability to coach others to respond positively to change.
- You’ll be able to operate calmly in a high-pressure environment, achieving maximum output personally and will be able to monitor and adjust your own performance in respect of defined targets and overall objectives.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills, you’ll proactively seek out feedback regarding your own performance and will positively act on any constructive feedback.
- Knowledge of Riskonnect or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- An in-depth knowledge of MS Excel.
- A good understanding of personal injury claims handling would be helpful.
- Ability to look at management information analytically.
